Supervision Training Services offers the Stepping UP Model of Supervision Training.

Certificate of attainment in Individual and Group Professional  Clinical Supervision is offered in several localities throughout Australia.  

Note: This course meets the minimum specified criteria for the current ACA Supervision Training Standards (2015) and the course entry requirements to the ACA College of Professional Supervisors. This training is also approved by the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists and the Australian Hypnotherapists Association, and the Australian Community Workers Association. Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, International Institute of Complementary Therapists. Please check your Association to see if this training meets their criteria.

COMMITMENT: As part of their pre-course study, each student will read a Pre-course study workbook, and the questionnaire will be emailed to you. Students should allocate at least two weeks to read and answer the questionnaire to be completed before the full-time attendance of face-to-face  3 days. These three days must be attended for your training to be verified and accredited.

Training Components

3-day face-to-face classroom work with interactive group activities.

  • Individual supervision practice.
  • Formal assessment involving:
  • Delivering a 60-minute supervision session.
  • Critiquing a supervision session.
  • Being a supervisee in a supervision session.

Note: Formal assessments are conducted in real-time, face-to-face by a registered and qualified STS assessor. Role-plays are not allowed.
